Dual Credit
what is dual credit?!
The Dual Enrollment Program is an opportunity to earn both High School AND College Credit for your classes.
The goal of this program is to prepare students to earn postsecondary credential in less time and at lower cost. Dual Enrollment is free to participants who qualify for the program and choose courses specifically from our course catalog.
Here is how dual credit works.
Let's take, from the below course catalog, PSC 101 - Introduction to American Politics as an example.
This particular course replaces the High School American Government credit that is required for graduation. If you take and pass this course, you would then receive 1 American Government High School Credit AND 3 College Credits towards your college degree plan. It's like getting 2 for the price of 1.
